WHEREIN WE REVIEW

Gunslung Devilry And Strange Happenings In The Weird West

What started as weekly column filler for an essay blog I ran one thousand years ago became much more. What was narrated with music and told as an apocalyptic adventure story became a trilogy series and one of the most thought consuming things I've ever experienced. My focus on this project has always been the writing, but of course artwork, too, came along for the ride.

Set The Scene

Much of the Tincture series is told through subtext and obfuscation, and occasionally I got to add to the tale with these bizarre posters or obdurate marketing efforts.

Teasers

One video came from film crew hanging out of the back of my car as we roamed some of the Colorado outlands, the other from perusing through an obnixious amount of public domain flim clips. Hey, I know they're not Oscar material, but they were fun to make, which was largely the point. If I was thinking I would've worn a beret.
